The Ye Shire Tavern Restaurant was purchased by Jon and Lindsay Barrilleaux in December of 2006. Although the word ‘Tavern’ reflects a pub type atmosphere with English type food, The Ye Shire Tavern is actually an American style restaurant with a menu that reflects this theme. All menu items are freshly made in house including the flavorful dressings, sauces and desserts. During the week, daily specials are also presented and our diners have become accustomed to these offerings.

Within the spacious main dining room, there is ample space and seating at the lovely granite and custom built bar. The Shire Tavern provides patrons with their favorite alcohol selections as well as providing unique wines by the glass and bottle. There are also customized drink specials including fresh fruit fusion martinis. This area has two large flat screens to view, for those who want to keep an eye on the game or catch up with the news. The Shire Tavern is a non-smoking restaurant and guests are able to choose between the main dining room and the outdoor patio.

There is a second dining area that accommodates up to 65 guests and can be closed off for additional privacy. This dining space can be utilized for important meetings, special celebratory events and holiday parties. The Shire Tavern can also provide for larger groups using both dining spaces. This would need to be further discussed, but accommodation to guests is always a priority.

The Shire Tavern also has attractive alfresco dining space including small and larger patio tables. The Shire Tavern is known as a ‘neighborhood place’ by many of its patrons. The Shire Tavern is a place to go when one wishes to relax in a warm and friendly atmosphere, while sipping their cocktails and enjoying their food. The servers, bartenders and owners are knowledgeable and sincere, always willing to make visits to the Shire Tavern as pleasurable as possible.
